Canada's Start-Up Visa Programme is designed to attract foreign entrepreneurs to start businesses in Canada.
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must first obtain the support of a Canadian venture capital fund, angel investor group or business incubator.
Once approved, applicants can apply for a temporary work visa, allowing them to live and work in Canada for up to two years. After successfully launching their business, entrepreneurs can then apply for permanent residency.
